Healing Ministry

"In so far as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me." (Mt. 25:40)

Health care is a ministerial instrument of God's outpouring love for the suffering. The Health care institutions are the visible expressions of the healing and redemptive love of God revealed in Jesus Christ. We too are involved in healing ministry in order to fulfil the basic mandate received from our Lord. It is an effective field to share the compassionate love of the Lord. Those who have that deep faith and love for the Eucharist can do nothing but serve the Lord in the broken bodies of the sick and the poor.

Our sisters take care of the physical, mental and spiritual needs of all the sick and shows special concern and compassion to the poorest and the most abandoned. We help the dying to leave this world in peace and to face death with hope and trust in eternal life. We work in various competencies such as doctors, administrators, educators, nursing staff, paramedical staff such as pharmacists, Lab-Technicians, X-ray Technicians etc. We undertake this ministry regardless of caste, creed, religion and economic status by working in the hospitals, and other outreach programmes.

In our healing ministry, we follow faithfully the teachings of the Church regarding the protection and promotion of life. Healing is not only an alleviation of bodily pain but also a response to a persons' search for liberation. Through this noble Apostolate of caring for the sick, the suffering humanity experiences the healing touch of Jesus.

Goal

The main goal of our healing ministry is the proclamation of the Good News that life is worth living because it is a gift from God who is the father of all. Seeing the Eucharistic Lord in the faces of the physically, mentally and spiritually wounded, we give them the compassionate touch of the Lord and lead them to the joy of resurrection.
